Hello fellow Browns Backers,

I wanted to take this opportunity to let all of you know about the events planned for the weekend of October 25th & 26th. 

On Saturday, October 25th, the North Florida Browns Backers will be hosting a Cleveland Browns Rally starting at 5:00 PM.  The rally will be conducted at Beef O' Brady's, located at 9475 Phillips Hwy, Jacksonville, FL 32256, which is about 15 minutes from downtown Jacksonville.  The rally will run until midnight.  Cost for tickets for the rally will be $10 in advance, or $12 at the door.  The cost of the tickets will include the following:
Just Wings - (10) of Beef O' Brady's Buffalo-style chicken wings tossed in your choice of sauces and served with bleu cheese or ranch dressing for dipping
or
Wings & Fries - (8) wings with your choice of sauces and an order of fries.
or
Chicken Fingers & Fries - (5) crispy, breaded chicken fingers served with buffalo, BBQ, or honey mustard sauces and an order of fries
or
Steak Quesadilla - a grilled flour tortilla stuffed with cheese thinly shaved steak, served with sour cream and salsa.
It will also include two drinks (domestic draft, soda, or tea).  Additional drinks will be available for purchase.  When purchasing tickets, please let me know what entree item you will want with each ticket. 

Some other highlights of the rally include 50/50 raffles, various prize raffles, an autographed memorabilia raffle, and vendor giveaways.  The Ohio St. versus Penn St. game will be broadcast over the sound system and displayed on many of the restaurant's TVs.  A possible Browns Alumni player appearance has been requested from the Browns for that night.  There will be a large tent in the parking lot to socialize and meet other Browns Backers clubs that are coming into town for the game.  Money for tickets can be mailed to my address at the bottom of this e-mail.

We have a tailgate party that is now finalized.  We will be tailgating in lot "V" down near the stadium.  Cost for each parking spot will be $25.  The Jaguars are holding this lot for all Browns fans.  The food is being catered and will include both a 1/2 lb. burger topped with cheese, and an all beef hot-dog.  These will be served with all the condiments, including the famous Cleveland Browns Stadium Mustard, and southern style potato salad or chips.  Cost for this will be $10 per ticket and will be only available in advance (NO WALK UPS!).  We will have several raffles going on while we are tailgating.  We will not be able to sell alcohol, so it will be BYOB.  Money for the parking spots and tickets can be mailed to my address at the bottom of this e-mail.

For those of you that haven't made your reservations for accommodations, we have a special rate of $109 a night for Browns Backers at the Embassy Suites on Baymeadows Rd.  This hotel is about 15 minutes from downtown and only about 5 minutes from the rally location.  Please let me know how many rooms you need and what nights you need rooms, ASAP.
