"Camp is a long grind. Different people have different philosophies.
A lot of people have already broken camp. A lot of people don't do half the stuff we do.
Us as players, we appreciate RAC taking care of us. I don't think ... it wasn't physical,
the reason we lost. It was more mental."

Detroit, including five who suffered injuries in the game at the Giants two nights ago.

Running back Jamal Lewis and linebacker Willie
McGinest were added Wednesday to the long list of Browns who will most likely sit out
Saturday's preseason game in Detroit with injuries.

The Browns finally swung a trade for a backup cornerback. They acquired
Travis Daniels from the Miami Dolphins for an undisclosed draft choice.

"The biggest thing is to try to get some sort of rapport working with
the (first-team) receivers. I've been able to go with the ones a little, but not as much
as I'd like. The next couple practices we'll have will be big for me."

Anderson likely out vs. Lions
Meanwhile, receiver Josh Cribbs underwent an MRI Tuesday on his left
ankle, which he sprained in the first quarter of the game. By early Tuesday evening, a
source told The Plain Dealer that Cribbs was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain and he
could sit out the final two preseason games as well.

Steptoe 'bright spot'
Steptoe was clearly the overall star of the game for the Browns, tying for
the team lead in receptions with three, including one -- a 44-yarder -- for a touchdown
from quarterback Brady Quinn, and amassing a game-high 80 receiving yards.
